Isanpur woman files domestic harassment case

• Husband pressurizing her to transfer the title of her father’s house onto his name

Ahmedabad, Feb1, 2020: A woman from Isanpur in eastern Ahmedabad has filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband at the Women’s Police Station (East). A case has been lodged against the woman’s husband Ravi Kumar Jadishrao Pavar.
The woman in her complaint said that since their wedding, her husband has been pressurizing her to transfer the title of her father’s house onto his name. In addition, the woman said her father-in- law and mother-in-law informed her that her husband was having a physical relationship with his sister-in-law.
She added that her father and father-in-law both caught her husband in a compromising position with his sister-in-law at a hotel in Vatva. Both were taken to Vatva GIDC Police Station.
The woman now lives with her father after filing the complaint as police have started an investigation in the case
